band history

David Stephenson unlike many of his post-punk brethren has spent a great portion of his musical life singing 16th Century sacred music in the beautiful churches of Sydney, most regularly with the fine accapella group Innominata.

His first recording achievement was as an uncredited back-up singer on a recording of “Old Black Billy” for Ian Mcnamara’s “Australia All Over program on ABC Radio.  Other uncredited work includes trumpet session work for the  band The Church. Dave has also been part of Sydney’s premier Mariachi band The Real Mexico, with whom he played at the 8th International Convention of Mariachi Music in Guadalajara, Mexico Dave’s most gratifying and rewarding musical engagement to date has been his involvement with Waiting for Guinness.
