Alex Crouch studied music at the University of New South Wales and is certainly one of the most refined and intelligent of its alumni. In 1997 he was awarded a University Medal for academic excellence soon after which he decided to dedicate his time to composition.

Much of his energy over the last few years has been devoted to arranging,  performing and composing work with Waiting for Guinness. His rythmic precision is a beacon of sanity amongst the musical chaos of the band, and he is known to write all our set-lists.
